‘We’ve worked all over the world, but we could never get a gig in Islington. We went to one of the Creative Islington Networking Events; we hadn’t realised there was so much going on in the borough and now we’d found an organisation that connects everything’

– Frances and Herbie, Electric Voice Theatre

“I really look forward to every meeting; to have a good few hours to sit and think about marketing our shows and to come away with a list of new ideas is really important for us”

– Dominic Haddock, OperaUpClose

“I would like to work even closer with Creative Islington to see how we can make a true difference of using creativity to engage with the welfare sector”
– Mike Sheriff – Voluntary Action Islington
“I really like working at Creative Islington, they’re like the missing link, like the piece that nobody sees that makes it
all come together”
– Ama Budge – Freelance Admin Assistant
“I know it can sometimes be frustrating to try and connect with a college, this event was great to see people interacting and discussing ideas – I know many new connections were made that night”
– James Wilson – City & Islington College (CANDI)
