EYESONTHEWALL

http://eyesonthewall.net/

EYESONTHEWALL is a London based visual label/arts collective formed by a group of young, enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals who are driven by a passion for visual production, artistic experiments, and exploration of new and emerging technologies.

EYESONTHEWALL team members come from many disciplines including fine art, film and video, photography and graphic design and have considerable knowledge in the field of still and moving imagery, and contemporary art in general. The cross-fertilization of diverse skills and interests stimulates new fields of exploration and application of expertise, which is core to our creative ideology.

While aware of the historical roots of visual production and live performance, we are devising genuine artistic concepts, researching into the most recent technological achievements and aim to integrate them in order to discover the new dimensions of perceptual experience. Our aspiration is to generate embracing and progressively synthesized visual landscapes, which closely relate to the environment and live performance contexts in which they are presented. The result of our work is a multitude of dense, unpredictable and engaging worlds that evolve in a precise synergy with the given sound and environment, creating a unique atmosphere.

EYESONTHEWALL production for live performances has led to commissions by the Roundhouse, Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Short Circuit and iTunes art and music festivals. We have worked alongside musicians such as The Labeque Sisters, Moby, Professor Green, Richie Hawtin, Ms Dynamite and Rob Da Bank, participated in the Frank Zappa Festival, and performed a live audio-visual experiment ‘Metamorphosis’ at Live Performers Meeting in Rome. Most recently, EYESONTHEWALL visual label teamed up the artists and producers coming from the fields of poetry, music and circus, to create a series of singular live events for the Ron Arad’s Curtain Call at the Roundhouse.
