Reel Islington celebrates North London’s wealth of filmmaking talent by showcasing short films by local filmmakers alongside award winning national and international films. We have an annual Summer Festival which screens films at the Holloway Odeon and in Whittington Park, in association with the Holloway Arts Festival. We run a ‘Make a Film in a Day’ event facilitating filmmaking for young people. We hold screenings at other times of the year at local venues around the borough.
