Katia works primarily as a painter and a dance maker. Her pieces have been performed and exhibited in the United Kingdom, the United States, Poland and Switzerland.

Katia is the recipient of three Melvin B. Troy Dance Awards for Composition and has been awarded funding from the Swiss Cultural Fund in Britain for her choreography projects. She also holds a Jonathan Leigh Altman Grant for Studio Art and the Lady Rothemere Prize for Drawing. Her art works are in the collections of Lord Jacob Rothschild, Joanna Lewis and Christopher Forbes among others. She is a graduate of Swarthmore College (USA) and The Prince’s Drawing School (London, UK).
