A fantastic opportunity to learn everything you need to know about making an animated film using traditional techniques. Working in small groups, you will come up with your own stories and characters and learn how to make them move under the camera. You’ll do some editing and record the sound and get a DVD to keep at the end
Fun, practical sessions are led by trusted animators with the support of volunteers interested in developing their skills in the creative industries. All our members of staff and volunteers are CRB checked. Each workshop will have a group of participants of maximum 12 participants and will consist of five sessions in our teaching space or school hall.
The young people will be involved in all stages of the production of their films which includes: Drawing storyboards, creating art-work, operating the animation cameras, recording soundtracks.
Young people will use our equipment and will be guided and supported by our workshop leader and volunteer. Our animation projects are designed specifically to help students succeed in the creation of high quality animation work.
