During this Animation Taster day, BAFTA award-winning animator Kevin Griffiths will show you how animation works, introducing you to some basic animation techniques: drawn, model and cut-out animation. Kevin will demonstrate how to put together a short animated sequence using cut-out animation and give you practical exercises to help you produce your own short clip.

Upon completing this course, you will:
• Know how to set up iStopMotion on a computer with an animation camera
• Know how to capture basic stop motion animation
• Know how to animate
• Know how to put together a short animated sequence

No previous animation experience is necessary. Students should be fluent in English.
