Master Builder Halvard Solness’ is nearing completion of his final masterpiece. With his family life in ruins this provides his only source of comfort. But when the tantalizing Hilde Wangel arrives, claiming Halvard made a promise to her 10 years ago, Halvard begins to falter. Will he succeed, or will Hilde be the Master Builder’s ultimate downfall?
Cast includes Stephen Dillane as Halvard and Gemma Arterton as Hilde. Travis Preston who also directed Stephan Dillane in Almeida’s Macbeth (2005) directs this Ibsen classic.
