As part of the Islington council’s drive to support young people into training and employment, they are offering the first match funded apprenticeship opportunity with Proboscis for a paid Fundraising and Development Placement.

Proboscis is an independent, artist-led, non-profit creative studio based in Farringdon. This placement is supported by Islington Council’s Employability & Business Team.

Proboscis’ Creative Placement programme is a paid work-based training programme the organisation has set up to enable young people who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to work in the creative sector to experience and learn about creative work and gain a foothold. The organisation is specifically targeting young unemployed people from diverse backgrounds who may not have gone through higher education.
