Are you interested in filmmaking?

Ever wondered how to create an animation?

Do you like to draw?

Rowan Arts are looking for 15 young people who are passionate about film, drawing and animation and want to be involved in creating an animation inspired by your take on the Olympics.

You will learn every stage of the production process: developing the idea, storyboarding, directing, acting, shooting, video editing, hand-drawn animation and editing the final piece.

The final film will be screened at Holloway Odeon as part of Holloway Arts Festival 2012 and entered into a competition to be included in the BBC Live Sites during the Olympics and in the Olympic Stadium itself!

Interested or have any questions? Then email Project Leader Nicola Pomery at nicola@therowanartsproject.com

The project is funded by First Light, a UK-wide organisation that uses film and media production to develop skills in young people.
